1926 One Pound Kell/Collins R24 Very Fine

1926 One Pound Kell/Collins R24 Very Fine. Crisp and firm paper, sharp corners and edges.

James Kell was the Governor of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia between October 10th 1926 and May 31st 1927. James Collins was the Secretary to the Commonwealth Treasury between March 14th 1916 and August 2nd 1926. One pound notes with this combination of signatures were seen for a much shorter period than those listed above, they were only on issue between April 12th 1926 and April 1927. Although this particular note circulated for a reasonable periof of time, the paper quality is completely original, and it is entirely problem free. The edges are intact right the way around, and there are no pinholes or other impediments. It is an honest example of this scarce signature combination.
